About Next step ministry
Even in fear, faith moves forward. All it takes is the next step.
Why these articles exist
Carefully written, with purpose and for a purpose. Written to accompany you as you continue to grow in your faith and take your next step.

My name is Riggin Pearce, and I’m a bull rider from Sheridan, Wyoming. Over the years, God has revealed to me the real significance of life and why I’m here. Along the way, the opportunity to write these articles opened up, and I’m grateful for the chance to share what He has shown me with you.
Rather than giving surface-level, hard-to-understand information and scripture, I try my best to answer the real questions and break scripture down. My articles include struggles, moments of grace, moments of conviction, the ways God has worked in my life, and much more.
The goal is that as you read, God’s message is glorified over mine, you find community, and you’re pushed and encouraged to ask yourself: what is my next step?
What you’ll find here
Every article weaves together three threads: the Bible, real life, and practical insight.
Bible stories
Every article is rooted deeply in Scripture.
I open the biblical text with care and reverence, discovering how ancient encounters reveal God’s unfailing character and speak truth into modern doubt, hope, and renewal.
Life stories
Every article is grounded in real, lived experience.
Faith isn’t abstract theory. I share honest glimpses of everyday struggles, quiet convictions, and raw moments where God stepped into my mess and changed me.
Insights
Every article ends with practical takeaways and a next step.
Thoughtful spiritual discernment that cuts through noise and invites you to respond, asking the essential question: what is my next faithful step today?
Every article also has its own topic
Patience, grace, courage… each article is tagged with the topics it explores, so you can find more of what you need.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
